Saving Toolsets
If the current toolset doesn’t quite meet your needs, you can open other windows,
move windows around, and configure them to your liking. After you’ve adjusted the
GUI the way you like it, you can save it as one of the toolsets by using the Toolset
>
Save Current command.
For example, you might want to change the Capture toolset so the Audio tool is
displayed alongside. Follow these steps:
1. Open the Audio tool (Ctrl+1/F+1 or Tools > Audio Tool).
2. Adjust the Audio tool so it is next to the Capture tool.
3. Choose Toolset > Save Current.
If you decide you do not like the new toolset configuration and want to go back
to the previous toolset display, just choose Toolset
> Restore Current to Default.
A Tour of the Interface
Now that we’ve examined the toolsets available on Xpress Pro and Free DV, let’s take a
look at the functions available on the editing interface. The editing interface on Xpress
Pro is completely customizable. Unfortunately, being able to move buttons on the
